After receiving several messages asking him if he “would try to reconcile” with Pearl Jam, Abbruzzse has decided to respond directly to the fans.
“To be clear, I have nothing to reconcile with them,” he said.
He also said: “My shooting from the group and the subsequent tests and tribulations caused by the actions of the group’s management and the former group’s label that made things difficult for me were not completely my fact.”
Abbruzzese continued: “With the exception of certain comments and small actions that I have never fully understood or expected, I have never linked the resentments and resentments to the members of the group.”
Although it was “blessed” to be in “remarkable musical projects” in the past 30 years, he admitted that he “had never really understood what was so important to destroy the musical chemistry that we had at the time”.
“That’s what it is, and I can’t do anything about it,” he said. “At least nothing that I can understand. The years since 1995 have served me well to grow as a person and player.”
Abbruzzse has added: “It seems that the group’s guys have matured and grew as much as I do, but the fact that I had no personal contact with any of them leads me to believe that the water under the bridge is too deep and too frozen for there to be reincorpation or reconciliation.”
He noted that it “sed” that it is.
“I know that I could and I would have a lot to contribute if, in fact, the call came, but unfortunately, I do not see that happening,” said Abbruzzse.
After having shared a list of his musical achievements over the years, he shared what he was grateful to have accomplished in his life, in particular “a beautiful and talented girl … Overcoming drug addiction, embracing madness and going out on the other side, working in the field of recovery, legal problems, a failed marriage …”
Abbruzzse then stressed how music is “still very important” for him.
“I hope that Pearl Jam and his organization will succeed and I hope it will come a day when we can again connect to a certain level. All that is said, I ask you to stop sending me messages by wondering and telling me to contact their management,” he said.
He concluded: “I appreciate and understand your desire to see what could come out of this musical meeting. I would lie if I said that I was not curious too.”
The representatives of Abbruzzse and Pearl Jam have not yet responded to requests for comments from people.
Abbruzzese joined Pearl Jam in 1991 and contributed to the 1993 Against. and 1994 Vitalogy.
In 1994, he was dismissed from the group after creative and personal tensions surfaced, by Roller. It was also excluded from the induction of the reproductive temple of Rock & Roll by Pearl Jam in 2017.
