The director of the first steps confirms that the red ghost of John Malkovich was cut off from the film
Although he presents himself in the first teaser of the film, speculations have mounted that the legendary John Malkovich had perhaps been cut off from The Fantastic Four: First steps After the actor’s name was absent from a recent synopsis.
Now we have confirmed that the character of Malkovich – the villain Red Ghost – will not appear in the restart of the MCU.
“There were a lot of things that ended up hitting the floor in the cut room”, “ Director Matt Shakman says Variety. “When we built a retro -future world from the 1960s, introducing all these bad guys, introducing these four main group characters, as well as individually, the idea of a child – there was a lot to balance in this film and that certain things should finally take place in terms of movie shaping for its final version.”
As previously indicated, the Red Ghost was originally to appear in an opening sequence detailing the first years of the team as superheroes.

Malkovich is not very lucky with the characters of Marvel Comics, because he was previously ready to play the Vulture in the fourth of Sam Raimi Spider Film Before the project was rebuilt.
