The director of Superman James Gunn confirms the plans of a animated series animated by Krypto
Kryto Le Superdog is about to make his debut on live action (although Krypto himself will be obviously animated via CGI) in James Gunn Supermanand should also have an important role in Supergirl: woman of tomorrow.

Responding to Fan on social networks, Gunn said that a Krypto spin-off was on the way. We assume He refers to these shorts and not to a separate project, but that would seem to confirm that they will be animated.
The filmmaker also shared an explanation of the term “Metahuman” because there was a certain confusion after the posters of the character of yesterday.

Superman Stars David Corenswet as Clark Kent / Superman, Nicholas Hoult in the role of Lex Luthor, Rachel Brosnahan like Lois Lane, Isabel Merced like Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi like M. Terrific, and Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern Guy Gardner.
Sara Sampaio is on board as a lex assistant / lover, Eve Teschmacher, Pritt Taylor Vince and Neva Howell will play “my” and “pa” Kent, and the Supergirl of Milly Alcock was confirmed to make her debut before hers and Milly Alcock Tomorrow’s wife movie.
