Arsenal has the budget to sign 100 million pounds sterling CF which is more exciting than Gyokerres
Arsenal center-forward problems can be traced over several years. From Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was in his free score pump, the Gunners had a high-level central sniper.
Of course, Kai Havertz is a technically sophisticated and dynamic player, but he is not an attacker outside and out of exit, and Gabriel Jesus has never really reached the height, for one reason or another.
This issue, the most urgent concern of Mikel Arteta, was illustrated throughout the 2024/25 campaign, with the absence of a prolific focal point proving fatal in the title race of the Premier League for a successive third season.

Viktor Gyokerres should solve this problem and ask an insoluble question to the club’s title rivals.
Arsenal’s center-forward plans
An official announcement is not yet on us, but Arsenal has practically sealed the signature of Gyokerres de Lisbon Sportive, which should join the Emirates clan in a package worth 64 million pounds sterling.
However, fans and indeed the powers in place in northern London will undoubtedly have been shaken by revelations on Tyneside, Alexander Isak informing Newcastle United which he would like to explore his options on the transfer market this summer.
Liverpool is the frontrunners, but BBC Sport has confirmed that the long -standing interest of Arsenal remains intact and that the Gunners are one of the rare outfits which would have the budget to make a signature of declaration like the Swedish.
Newcastle is not going to drive and allow its most important number to leave without winning its due, and estimated it at 130 million pounds Sterling, which would overshadow the British record fees that Liverpool paid for Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen.
Isak vs rooter
It remains to be seen if Arsenal manages to conclude agreements for Isak and Gyokerres, but there is no question that it is the man in St. James’ Park who, 99% of a persuasion of the Gunners, would prefer.
Isak, in fact, joined Newcastle de Real Sociedad in an agreement of 63 million pounds sterling three years ago (the same stadium that Arsenal has just paid for Gyokerres), and he posted 62 goals and 11 assists on only 109 outings for the Eddie Howe exchange team.
Gyokerres, 27, has statistical analysis on its side, from the point of view of goals, at least. Indeed, the Swedish star scored 97 goals and provided 28 assists on only 102 sports appearances over two years.
It is certainly nothing to sniff, but Isak is himself a “world-class” scorer, as was said by the expert Alan Shearer, and he is weekly in the Premier League, surely a higher level of competition than the Liga Portugal.
Analyst Raj Chohan even said that the Newcastle Talisman is “the best attacker in the world”, with his completeness and athletics capable of competing even as that of Gyokerres, which is his compatriot and a physical machine.
The difference is that Isak is tried and tested, after driving Newcastle to an extraordinary triumph of the Carabao Cup last year, beating Arsenal in a two-legged semi-final before sending Liverpool to Wembley. He took the spotlight in the two events.
This is a culmination of the window for a number of Premier League teams, it’s like. Should Arsenal really have the financial means to conclude an agreement for the Isak of £ 120,000 per week, should they not jump there?
