Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts put right defender Teoscar Hernandez for the last match of the three -game Dodgers series against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The change comes after a bad section of two dodgers games, which scored only one round in the first two games against the Diamondbacks. Hernandez is 0 for 7 with three stick withdrawals in the series so far.
“Obviously, he did not manage right -handed pitch,” said Roberts. “I think that a two -day reset could help. He is an everyday guy, but I think where we are, you must also play.”

The Dodgers should face the right -hander Brandon Pfaadt in the final of the Sunday series. PFAADT opposed the dodgers twice this season and has only granted three points in 12.1 rounds. During his first departure against the Dodgers in 2025, he kept the aimless in what would become a victory of 5-3 Diamondbacks.

Taking over for Hernandez on the right is the acquisition of Deadline Alex Call, which was slightly better against right -handers this season.
Since he joined the Dodgers at the end of July, the call has a .777 OPS at 21 games and Bat .268 on the season. Against right -handers, it has a .734 ops and only leaves 15% of the time.
