Hwang’s teasing comes as Calmar game should come back for his third and last season on June 27.

Season 3 should resume where the previous season stopped, with Seong Gi -Hun (Lee Jung -Jae) – Aka Player 456 – Licking his injuries after he and some of his candidacy comrades tried an unhappy rebellion against those who led the Squid match competition.

Netflix abandoned an official trailer for the last season at their live Tudum 2025 event in May.

“Why didn’t you kill me? Why did you keep me alive? Why did you let me live?” Gi-Hun shouts in the clip while he is selected.

We also see surviving players forced to finish the Calmar game – including a twisted and deadly jump rope – in which they participated before the rebellion.

The trailer ends with Gi-Hun escorted to the control room to find itself face to face with the front of the man.

“Player 456, do you always have confidence in people?” The man before asks Gi-Hun to an end.
