The complaint of Pakistan wasted while Suryakumar Yadav pleaded “not guilty” by the referee of the CPI

Haris Rauf and Sahibzada Farhan of Pakistan will defend their actions against the CPI referee on September 26.

The Asian Cup has once again proven that whenever India and Pakistan meet, the benefits extend far beyond the boundary strings. What started as a unilateral competition on September 14 has now spread to audiences, complaints and off -scope posture. On Thursday, the Skipper of India Suryakumar Yadav was summoned by the ICC after an official complaint from Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The charge? That his post-match remarks, where he devoted victory to the armed forces and the victims of the terrorist attack of Pahalgam, crossed the political territory.

Suryakumar Yadav not guilty

According to those present, Suryakumar, accompanied by Summer Mallapurkar, director of operations of Cricket BCCI, appeared before the referee of the Richie Richardson match. The Indian captain “pleaded not guilty”, arguing that his words were in solidarity with his compatriots rather than political messaging.

According to PTI, Richardson, however, reminded the 34 -year -old man to avoid comments that could be interpreted as political. A level 1 offense under the ICC code of driving code generally includes a warning or a fine of 15% of the correspondence costs. For the moment, Surya has escaped just caution.

Rauf and Farhan are waiting for their turn

If the skipper of India was to defend his words, Haris Rauf and Sahibzada Farhan of Pakistan must now defend their actions. The BCCI filed a separate complaint, quoting their provocative gestures during the Super 4 confrontation of September 21.

Rauf would have imitated the shooting of an aircraft, a gesture that instantly reminded Indian supporters of past military confrontations. Farhan, after his fifty, went further while he brandished his bat like a machine gun to celebrate. All of this was quite confusing since the two nations entered a war a few months ago. It was apparent, for the Indians, like a mockery.

Farhan later raised her shoulders as “something that came to my mind”, but the ICC is unlocked so indulgent. Their audience, scheduled for Friday, could establish an important precedent over the distance that theaters in the field can go before crossing the line.
