The company remembers the red pepper paste after the consumer reaction to undeclared wheat

Pan Asia Food Co. Ltd. recalls the Daesang GOCHUJANG brand in Canada due to a consumer complaint regarding unsuccessful wheat.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency reports that the recalled product has been distributed in Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec.
Sensitized people or wheat allergies run the risk of serious or fatal symptoms if they consume this product. There was a reported incident of a consumer with an undesirable reaction to the product.
The product involved is packed in plastic bins. Consumers can use the following information to identify the recalled guchujang, commonly known as red pepper: Dapsang brand in 500 gram baths with an UPC number of 8 80 1052 802022 and a date code of 2025.10.29.
Consumers are invited to throw this product or return it to the place of purchase.
