2014 Wimbledon doubles Vasek Pospisil winner to retire

Canadian Vasek Pospisil, who won the male double title in Wimbledon in 2014, said he would retire after this week’s Canadian Open in Toronto.

Pospisil, 35, received an entrance from the main drawing joker. The tournament begins on Sunday.

“It is never easy to make a decision like this,” said Pospisil in an article at X. “Tennis was a large part of my life, but it has become clear, both mentally and physically, that it is the right time to move away.
