A false pediatrician in police custody for sexual assault on minor

A man, having usurped the identity of a pediatrician in Dijon, was placed this Wednesday July 9 in police custody. He is accused of sexual assault on a 17 -year -old young woman.

A man was placed in police custody this Wednesday, July 9 in Dijon (Côte d’Or), according to information from BFMTV. Earlier in the day, a 17 -year -old girl had filed a complaint for sexual assault committed several weeks before.

This man is 26 years old and would have offered him an internship in pediatrics, but also cannabis, according to a press release from the public prosecutor of Dijon.

The identity of a usurped doctor

According to her, a man would have usurped the identity of a doctor by pretending to be a pediatrician and had managed to agree with an appointment with her. See you, during which the girl would have been sexually assaulted.

Information, confirmed by the prosecutor, who affirms that the person concerned the identity of a true practitioner and had no quality allowing him to exercise a medical activity.

As a search, edifying elements were found at the suspect’s home, such as several CVs of young girls, bank cards, an automatic alarm pistol, a hood, gloves, as well as objects from a hospital.

Police custody, especially for sexual assault on minor over 15 years old, is still in progress this Thursday.

Contacted by BFMTV, the hospital indicates that “since the start of this case, CHU Dijon Bourgogne has given investigators in the resolution of it as soon as possible. Given the fact that the judicial investigation is still underway, no other communication will be carried out at this stage.”
