Man United continues to fight under the direction of Ruben Amorim, whose team has again lost the weekend. The Red Devils are 14th in the Premier League after six games played, while they were also eliminated for the Carabao Cup.

Amorim continues to be relaxed about his situation at Old Trafford, but there are growing calls for him to be relieved of his functions as soon as possible.

The former scout of Man United, Mick Brown, is one of those who call Amorim to be dismissed, as he said to Football Insider.

“Many people have already abandoned Amorim. This is the case among the fans, among the neutrals, and I have no doubt that this is the case with certain staff members because it shows nothing to prove them the opposite. Even his press conferences do not inspire any belief or hope, he is as miserable after a victory as after a defeat and he always seems to be a problem.

“On the field, he makes the same mistakes many times, but insists on sticking to this style of play when it has been proven that it does not work. You can blame the players, of course, but it was supported on the transfer market with a lot of money to sign the players he wanted and there has still not been an improvement.

“There is no way to come back for him at this stage, even if the board of directors has decided to support him, because it has become clear that things will not change. Delay any decision yet means that they will have to do it at some point in the future, because it is over, it cannot return it.

“You would say that the only way to really win the favor is to start winning matches, but there was no evidence on the field they will get there.”

It remains to be seen how the situation with Amorim takes place, but for the moment at least, he should continue as Manager of Man United.
