After completing the recording process, newcomers will receive their plot, to start a new life of refugees in Uganda. Although they are safe here, there are a lot of challenges to come, including the treatment of trauma of what they have experienced at home.
This woman, whom we will call “Agnes”, agreed to tell us about her painful experience. She says that four soldiers of the government of the Dinka tribe of President Salva Kiir arrested her as she was fleeing South Sudan and raped her before her family.
