The chiefs place Felix Anudike-Uzomah on IR among other movements on the list
The Kansas City chiefs made a handful of list movements on Monday afternoon, notably placing the defensive winger Felix Anudike-Uzomah (hamstrings) on the injured reserve of the season.
Anudike-Uzomah, who entered his third year in the NFL, suffered an injury to the hamstrings in the pre-season match last Saturday against the Seattle Seahawks.
In a trio of corresponding movements, the chiefs signed the defensive winger Owen Carney and the second Xander Mueller on Monday in addition to giving up the recruit of Ballon Elijah Young.
Carney, a former star at the University of Illinois, is back with the chiefs after spending part of the training camp with Kansas City last summer. Carney, 26, is still looking for his first regular season action as a professional after having initially signed with dolphins as a free agent not drafted in 2022.
Mueller joins the chiefs after a five -year career in Northwestern, where he recorded 273 plated in total, 28 plated for the loss and nine bags in 46 career games.
The two players will now have the opportunity to show what they can do while the chiefs conclude the pre-season Friday evening.
