The CEO of the astronomer resigns after the viral video ‘Coldplay’ Kiss Cam Video
Andy Byron left his role as CEO of the astronomer of the technological company after a video of him holding a woman during a concert of Coldplay became viral, according to a press release obtained by Variety. The woman was largely supposed to be the chief of the HR of Byron, Kristin Cabot.
“As previously indicated, the astronomer has engaged in the values and culture that have guided us since our foundation,” read the Declaration. “Our leaders should establish the standard in conduct and responsibility, and recently, this standard has not been respected. Andy Byron submitted his resignation, and the board of directors accepted. The Board of Directors will start a search for our next director general as co -founder and product manager Pete Dejoy continues to serve as an acting CEO. ”
He continued: “Before this week, we were known as a pioneer in the data space, helping the data teams to feed everything, from modern analysis to IA production. Although awareness of our business may have changed overnight, our product and our work for our customers do not have it. ”
In a statement published on Friday, the astronomer said that his board of directors had launched an “official investigation” on the incident, and that a decision on the future of Byron in the company would “very soon”.
During a COLDPLAY concert on Wednesday evening in Foxborough, in Massachusetts, a fan cam found Bryon with his arms around a woman on Wednesday. Once identified, they quickly walked away from each other and hid their faces to the camera. The couple was identified on social networks, and the clip of them together has raised tens of millions of views since their publication on Wednesday evening.
Coldplay singer Chris Martin noticed the couple’s strange reaction on the arena jumbotron. While they moved away, Martin joked: “Either they have an affair, or they are just very shy.”
