The boys star Antony Starr reveals his best moments of Homelander

Antony Starr saw his right share of murder, desemnation and drinking uncomfortable milk through four seasons of the Success Superhero series from Amazon Prime Video “The Boys”. In a Fyc panel with several of its co-stars, Starr reveals some of its best moments of Homelander, which face the mental demolition of its all-powerful and evil superhero.

“A moment that stands out for me in season 3, played the scene in the mirror,” he said. “I remember reading it and then saying to Jordan Moreau Eric Kripke, “I think there is a place where we can go.” Each season, I receive an episode or a scene that will connect in a different way and it arouses something like: “Oh, my God, we can go.” I struck Eric and he was always faithful to his word. This is the best collaboration I have had so far in my career. He is amazing in this regard. We have a great creative relationship. So, in season 3, this moment for me was the reflection on the mirror scene. I saw another path to go down and launched it to Eric, then we somehow paved her together, then she found herself really twisted and dark.

Starr was joined on the panel by his co-stars Jack Quaid, Colby Minfie, Tomer Capone, Susan Heyward, Nathan Mitchell, Claudia Doumit, Jessie T. Usher, Erin Moriarty and Chace Crawford.

“Each character represented by these people on stage is incredibly damaged,” added Starr. “This is one of the things that I am really proud of us and that the show is that we are going to these dark deep places that people can identify. I think that is part of the reason why there was such an answer. So, this scene was a real remarkable.”

During season 4, Starr shouted episode 4, which revealed dark origins from Homelander in a Vought laboratory.

“On the same note, it was one of these” oof, there, it is “moments-episode 4 which returns to the laboratory where Homelander was raised,” he explained. “It was another of those moments when what was on the page was great, but sometimes you see an angle or a path through or something that you can lock.
