The best and worst moments of the 2024/25 FPL experts

The panel of experts from the Fantastic Premier League shares its best and worse moments of the 2024/25 season.
HAS (@Pras_fpl))
Best: For me, it was a transfer, rather than something in the field. Sell Erling Haaland and Antoine Semenyo to get Matheus Cunha and Mohamed Salah was a master stroke. The pair earned more than 75 points in the following weeks, which was a huge transfer of sliding doors during my season.
Worse: Do not choose Ebelechi Eze On my game of 30 generics. I supported Eze for points, but in the end, I simply could not tighten it because of my budget. Instead, I settled in Ismaila Sarr, who turned out to be a disappointment.
Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily))
Best: My free success in Gameweek 34 has become one of my favorite FPL Weweks FPL. The out-of-competition time was the safeguard of Jose Sa. was a doubt before the week of play and I almost went without him, so it was a roller coaster of emotions that day. I was delighted to see him start, then when the penalty was granted, I felt frustrated. However, it saved the penalty, preserving Son and his teammates Rayan Ait-Nouri. Its also obtained the penalty backup points and the bonus. He was a hero that day!
Worse: I was on vacation for Gameweek 9 and I decided to triple Captain Erling Haaland. When he marked very early against Southampton, I thought he was going to mark a hatful, but not such a chance. Haaland only returned to the six pointer and it was definitely a low point because the chips can do or break a season. This one felt definitively as a wasted opportunity.
Nick Harris (@Wgta_nick))
Best: My highlight of the season was Captain Cole Palmer for his return of four goals to Gameweek 6 against Brighton. It was a huge differential and really catappered me into the ranks at the start of the season.
Worse: Sell forced For Kevin de Bruyne on a free blow in Gameweek 36. by Bruyne had the match against Southampton, whilebe faced the Spurs, but De Bruyne failed and Eze marked a splint – a critical decision that cost me 16 points.
Gianni Butice (@Giannibuttice))
Best: The deputy director’s chip was probably my highest point. I supported the Outsiders David Moyes, Unai Emery and Oliver Glasner, and collectively they reached 56 points of the chip, so it was really worth using transfers on Managers. In Game week 26 I had a Game week Rank of 102,000 where everything has set up and most players returned, including 20 glasner points.
Worse: I stood firm on Haaland for too long and I supported the underlying figures, which did not come well. When most of the managers went to Salah, I kept Haaland and I gave him the armband for weeks. It really hurt while Salah scored a splint every week like the most captured asset, and I did not even have it. If only Haaland had reached his expected goals’ figures, I would have been well, but he has not failed.
Utkarsh Dalmia (@Zopharfpl))
Best: Capping one of my favorite players of all Bruyne time against the Wolves for the last time in Gameweek 35, and delivering him, all the other popular choices failing that week.
Worse: I had the choice between selling Dominic Solanke And Haaland To finance Salah, and went with Solanke, who continued to win 15 points that week, while Haaland bleached for several weeks. Painful.
Pranil Sheith (@ laterser12))
Best: The best time of the season must be to get Cole Palmer in Gameweek 6 for his 25 -point transport against Brighton, where he scored four goals and was not very detained.
Worse: Holding Haaland And the captain for the first half of the season. Not only did I captain him instead of Salah, who was incredible, but I had it in place of Cunha and Chris Wood, who were very popular choices and continued to surpass Haaland.
Lee Bonfield (@FPLFamily))
Best: Free success this season was a huge success. I played it in Gameweek 34 and I got 106 points, a rank of the week of play in the top 5,000 in the world. It was easily my best week of the season and gave me a huge green arrow. Everything went well!
Worse: The deputy director’s chip is not really planned. I chased the bonus table points and it did not fall in my favor. The Crystal Palace of Glasner going 2-0 against Manchester City in Gameweek 32 looked good for a while, until De Bruyne and Man City return it. A bad time, because the chip is so powerful.
Oscar (@fplfocal)
Best: My best time is Gameweek 34 where my free blow won me 97 points. Its saved Jamie Vardy’s penalty for his first two-digit return since August 2023. Also, Ait-Nouri And Kieran Trippier has won two -digit points. It was one of those rare weeks when everything went well and it propelled me to a finish in the best 10,000 in the world.
Worse: My worst moment ironically was literally the week before using my bench in Double Gameweek 33. Emiliano Martinez failed in two games for four points. Alexander Isak failed. Aaron Wan-Bissaka was not appointed to the team for the first time all season, and Dan Burn scored his own goal. In total, I obtained four points from my bench boost!
Phillips (@fplblackbox_az)
Best: Amad Hats off against Southampton in Gameweek 21 was the definitive highest point because it was a great differential for me. I also really appreciated the celebrations I had with David Moyes as deputy director with this last -minute equalizer against Liverpool!
Worse: Bring Danny Welbeck and the captain in Gameweek 38, with Bukayo of – who was Banc – as vice -captain. A horrible way to finish the season.
