Target from Real Madrid should become an attractive free agent this summer

Real Madrid could have a chance to get the former central back-dos Aymeric Laporte on a free transfer This summer, without guarantee that Dean Huijsen will arrive at Santiago Bernabeu.

The Defense Center was a persistent problem for Madrid this season, with David Alaba suffering from insignificant fitness problems since his return from a long -term LCA absence, Eder Militao has governed with his own LCA number for the second time in as many years, and even Antonio Rudiger is not in the ball.

Having experienced a campaign in small groups with Bournemouth and impressing its international beginnings for Spain in March, Huijsen was courted by Madrid. The 20 -year -old has a liberation clause of 50 million pounds sterling (59 million euros) which can be paid in three parts, making it an attractive proposal.

But although Huijsen does not seem likely to choose Chelsea, there is serious competition for its signature of Arsenal and Liverpool which could derail the hopes of Madrid.

A curious alternative alternative which presents itself, however, is Laporte.

AS Ask the question in the midst of the reports of Saudi Arabia that Laporte was in talks with Al Nassr to end his contract a year earlier. There is a suggestion that he could imminently become a free agent, having been presented in any of the two games so far this month.

Laporte joined Al Nassr for the equivalent of 30 million euros (25 million pounds sterling) in 2023, after five and a half years with Manchester City, he had given five Premier League titles. He had been a regular at City before and after a long -term knee injury suffered in August 2019. But, after having missed the start of the 2022/23 club season, he failed to win his place of departure when he is in good shape.

This prompted the Spanish international to join the rush to the Saudi Pro League, but he still played a major for Spain in the European championship triumphant last summer.

Laporte is 31 years old at the end of this month and could be an intelligent addition to Madrid, at least in the short term, if Huijsen finally looks instead elsewhere.
