The man, identified as Kelly Paul, 54, of Texas, was transported by ambulance to the regional hospital of Spirit Lake, where he was declared dead. “Despite the reception of fast medical care on the scene, it is with great sadness that we confirm the passage of two Ragbrai runners earlier this week,” said Ragbrai director Anne Lawrie. “Our sincere thoughts and our greatest condolences to their loved ones.” It is a story in development.
