The Asian Council of the Cricket Council issues an official declaration on the controversy of the hands handle Ind vs Pak; condemns India

“Completely disappointing to see the lack of sporting spirit today. Draft politics in the game goes against the very spirit of sport. Hopefully the future victories are celebrated by all the teams with grace,” he wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter).
Pakistan also reacted to the incident of Non-Handshake. Captain Salman Ali Agha was absent from the post-match presentation, which added to speculation on the emotional assessment of the defeat and the controversy on the decision of Suryakumar Yadav to jump hand handles.

There was no handshake between India and Pakistan after their Asia Cup 2025 confrontation. Pakistani players went to the Indian locker room, but the doors were closed.
During the presentation ceremony and later in the press conference, Suryakumar Yadav said the gesture without Handshes was linked to Pahalgam’s terrorist attack.
“Our government and our BCCI were aligned. We came here and we have appealed. We came here just to play the game. We have given the right answer. Little in life is ahead of the sporting spirit,” said Suryakumar.
