The appearance of Sharkcon by Richard Dreyfuss canceled due to viral bronchitis

Richard Dreyfuss was forced to cancel an appearance planned during a fan event this weekend after having succeeded in viral bronchitis.

THE Jaws Star was to appear in Sharkcon, an event sponsored by National Geographic which took place this weekend at the Florida State Fairgrounds Expo in Tampa. He had to participate in photo sessions and do autograph signatures during the event.

However, in a video published on the Instagram page of Sharkcon, Dreyfuss – which seems to be in a hospital bed – shared that he would not be able to attend the event of the year.

“Hello, other drawbacks,” he started video. “I’m very, really sorry to tell you that I was diagnosed with viral – viral – what is it?” He asked his wife, Svetlana Erokhin, who was out of camera but apparently recording Dreyfuss’s video. Viral bronchitis, she replied.

“My doctors told me that I can’t fly, and I should fly five hours to get there,” he continued. “I’m terribly sorry because I had planned to be there and I was looking forward to being there. But I can’t do it. [would] You feel worse to expose yourself to this apparently very viral disease. But there will be other times, and I will do my business to present themselves. »»

It ended with a positive message to fans.

“I want to wish you good luck and happiness,” he said, then adding laughing: “And I want you to feel very sorry for me.

“And very sorry for yourself,” he continued. “I have a lot of pain. And it must come first – my health. And I feel very good to have enough time and health. ”

His wife then sounded: “And so big fans. We love you. We all miss you, and we will see you soon.”

In his article, Sharkcon said that fans who bought “prepaid autographs and photo sessions” would automatically be reimbursed.
