The Antilles Odi Squad for the announced Pakistani series, RCB Star returns

Cricket West Anties (CWI) officially announced the national cricket team of the 15 members of the National Cricket Cricket Team for the next series against the Pakistani national cricket team.
The West Indies and Pakistan recently locked the horns of the T20i series of three games, which the home team lost 1-2, handing the men in Green a complete victory before the Asian 2025 Cup.
Romario Shepherd returns to the Odi team
The ODI series of three games between the Caribbean team and Pakistan should be played at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad. On August 8, the ODI series opener will take place and will be followed by matches on August 10 and 12.

The Antilles ODI team is largely unchanged from the one that locked the horns of the English team in May-June. Only Romario Shepherd came to replace Alzarri Joseph.
The Alzarri Joseph stimulator is managed properly by CWI, and it has received prolonged rest to continue the workload management program.
Speaking of Romario Shepherd, the explosive versatile is now back, after having missed the ODI matches in England because of its IPL commitments with the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), because the qualifiers have been reprogrammed.
With a strong team in the fray, the Antilles would seek to record their fourth consecutive victory in the ODI series at home and to build a solid nucleus for the next ODI World Cup.
Led by Shai Hope, the Windies team is made up of Shamar Joseph, Brandon King, Evin Lewis, Gudakesh Motie, Sherfane Rutherford and Jayden Seales, who are all able to win the Caribbean team matches alone.

Pakistan has a different test – Daren Sammy
In an official declaration published by CWI, the head coach of Windies, Daren Sammy, said that men in green still presented a “different test” and that they would seek to perform well in the series to achieve their objective of making a direct entry in the Male Cricket World Cup ICC 2027. He said:
“Pakistan presents a different test and challenge while we continue our pressure for automatic qualification for the 2027 World Cup.”
“Although qualifications are our immediate objective, maintaining a winning mentality and team cohesion is essential for long -term success.”
Daren Sammy also considers matches against Pakistan as an excellent opportunity to win precious points to climb in the ICC ODI team ranking. He said:
“The coming matches against teams like Pakistan, which are classified above, offer crucial opportunities to win precious ranking points to improve our position in front of the World Cup.”
