Ten years ago, Collin Morikawa won the Sunnehanna lover.
Friday, he finished the second round of the US Open in Oakmont Country Club.
Morikawa, PGA champion and winner of British Open, fired a 44 44 and made the cup to play on Saturday and Sunday when he is looking for his first US Open title. His two -day total was a 4 against 144.

“I have played enough majors now where I know what my match plan is and how I have to attack this golf course,” said Morikawa. “Yes, there are going to be holes that I will take the peer. There are already a handful of holes this week, I would take the peer four days in a row. But there are other holes where you have to enjoy it.”
About 80 kilometers to the east, the third round of the 84th annual Sunnehanna amateur at the Sunnehanna Country Club in Johnstown was played. Sunnehanna is one of the best amateur tournaments in the country.
Tyler Watts led after the third round at 13 sous, a shot in front of Ryan Voois. Two players – Gabirel Palacios and Cole Rueck – were tied third at 11 sous.

Aber II pulled one by 64 under 64 during the third round and is equal to the 44th to 2 sous. Salvitti is 1-over and did not cut with Fuhrer II, Turowski and Piatt are missing the cup. Piatt fired a 68 during the third round.
