The alternative end of X-Men ’97 reveals abandoned plans for the surprise beginnings of Kitty Pryde and Colossus

X-Men ’97 was created last March with praise, but the series was also embedded in the controversy thanks to the dismissal of the Showrunner Beau Demayo due to an alleged fault.

Nowadays – finally, the 1990s – it’s up to Forge, Bishop, Jubilee and SunSpot to find their teammates. However, in an alternative end shared by Demayo, we learn that Forge was at the origin of the help of Kitty Pryde / Shadowcat and Colossus.

Lockheed also appeared, and it seems that the idea was that these three were looking for the missing mutants in X-Men ’97. As for the way they would get there, we learn that Forge was going to be responsible for building a time machine, a point in the intrigue potentially still to be used in season 2.

Colossus made some invited appearances in X-Men: The animated seriesWhile Shadowcat never appeared and was mainly exchanged for jubilee. We do not know if there are plans for Kitty and Colossus in the revival in the future.
