Michael Alaimo, an actor of theater and cinema known for his roles in “Space Jam” and the “China syndrome” nominated in the Oscars, died on Friday May 2 in Burbank, California. He was 86 years old.
Alaimo’s death was confirmed to Variety By the daughter of Alaimo, the long -standing manager of public relations and communications Gabriella Alaimo Thomas. Although a cause of death has not been disclosed, an official statement said that he “died peacefully”.
As a multifaceted artist who worked in the avant-garde theater and appeared in dozens of films and shows, Alaimo notably had roles in “Space Jam”, “M. Before moving to Los Angeles, Alaimo began to study the theater at Brooklyn College.
