The 2026 All-Star starters will be announced today on NBC/Peacock at 2 p.m. ET

The NBA will announce the starters for the 2026 All-Star Game on Monday at 2 p.m. ET on NBC/Peacock before the Thunder-Cavs game (2:30 p.m. ET) which is part of a 9-game slate on MLK Day. The NBA continues the tradition of playing on MLK Day by marking this year the 40th edition of games played on this holiday.
Ten All-Star starters will be announced Monday, 5 from each conference. All-Star reserves will be announced at a later date.
Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Dončić and Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo were announced as the leaders of the Western and Eastern conferences, respectively, in the second fan return of the 2026 NBA All-Star vote.
The 2026 All-Star Game will feature a new format in which two teams of American players and one team of international players (known as the World Team). These teams will compete in a round-robin tournament consisting of four 12-minute matches. The three teams will each have a minimum of eight players.
As in the past, 24 NBA All-Stars (12 from each conference) will be selected as follows: the five players honored as starters from each conference will be selected by fans (50% of the vote), current NBA players (25%) and a media panel (25%), and the seven players honored as reserves from each conference will be selected by the NBA head coaches.
This year, All-Stars will be selected regardless of position. The process for assigning players to the two U.S. teams will be determined at a later date.
