A group of federal agents was spotted in an agricultural community in the county of Ventura on Thursday morning, seeming to hold people in the region.
The scene took place at Glass House Camillo Cultivation on Laguna Road near Las Posas Road in an area not formed in the County of Ventura company near Camillo. The files show that the nursery has been approved for cannabis licenses.
Newschopper4 was above the head, while twenty agents seemed to have installed a staging area when they stood behind a skirmish line, preventing spectators from crossing by their side. The agents were seen to use flash fringes when people have become too close.
The video has shown that people stood in front of a law to apply the law in a neighboring intersection. The SUV struck a street sign while trying to maneuver around a flat truck carrying a forklift.
“It’s a horrible view. It’s heartbreaking,” said Raquel Sanchez, a volunteer with Rapid Response Network. “The whole perimeter is blocked.”
Sanchez has expressed concern for immigration that can hide federal agents in spaces confined to temperatures.
“(Federal agents) are targeting the most working people,” said Sanchez, adding that immigration raids have been taking place for weeks. “(Agricultural workers) do not have the luxury of missing work. They are only the game deported daily.”
NBC Los Angeles contacted the Ministry of Internal Security for Confirmation.
Although President Trump has expressed his concern for American farmers who count strongly on migrant work, recognizing that the aggressive immigration application could harm the agricultural industry, recent immigration application operations in Los Angeles and other southern parts of California are part of the promise of Trump’s campaign to carry out a mass deportation plan.
More than 55,000 migrants nationally have been placed in police custody in the past six months, according to data compiled by NBC News. About 28% have criminal convictions with around 25% with pending criminal charges. About 47 percent were listed as “other childhood on immigration”.
California is home to 10.6 million immigrants, more than any other state, according to the public Policy Institute of California. The Pew Research Center estimates that 1.8 million immigrants in California were undocumented in 2022, a figure that went from 2.8 million in 2007.
