Texas Longhorns has treated another potential injury in attack

Austin – The Texas Longhorns face another notable injury on the offensive side of the ball.
After the first scrum in Saturday’s home game against UTEP miners, the Texas Ball bearer CJ Baxter received a postponement before leaving delicately and finally heading for the locker room.
Baxter left under his own power, but we do not know what is the injury. After already missing all last season with a knee injury, the release of Baxter has certainly let Texas fans hold their breath.
Already without the Ballon carrier Quintrevion Wisner and the wide receivers Deandre Moore Jr. and Emmett Mosley V, Texas will now have to rely even further on its depth.
This certainly does not help that the Texas offensive did not exactly talk about the game during the first two games of the season.
If Baxter and Wisner both miss the time, the Longhorns will have to rely on a young background of Jerrick Gibson, Christian Clark and James Simon.
During the victory against San Jose State, Gibson tried at the end of the fourth quarter with the already uncontrollable match. The Texas Longhorns on if questioned his message to Gibson after having committed a cardinal sin for a ball carrier,
“As a runner, this is one of the worst things to do to grope,” said Baxter when asked Texas Longhorns on Si. “We have the impression that all the time, I had an escape in my career, and I still think about it sometimes, but when he came on the touch, I told him to take the lead. I said, look at the reason why you have grown and repair it, don’t let it happen again. Pass the next game.”
Gibson has always finished the match with seven races for 38 yards.
Gibson showed impressive flashes in the first year last season, but has always had increasing pain. His highest point from 2024 came against the Florida Gators when he finished with 16 races for a career summit of 100 yards and a touchdown.
Baxter also shared its reflections on Clark, which had seven races for 21 yards but found it difficult to move north to the south.
“He’s a young runner,” said Baxter. “I was in the same way when I started, thinking of getting the ball and scoring. He is [Clark] improve every day; You can see it in practice. He will be great, I promise, he will be great. “”
