Texas A&M 42-24 UTSA (August 30, 2025) Recapt of play

College Station, Texas – – Marcel Reed launched for a career summit of four affected and KC Concepcion had a TD reception and made a clearance of clearance for another score during its beginnings in Texas A&M while the AGGIES classified on 19 won a 42-24 victory against UTSA on Saturday evening.

The touch of 75 yards by Robert Henry Jr. on the first game of the second half reduced the advance of Texas A & M to 21-17. But Reed launched a touch of 1 rod in fourth position on the next training before adding a score throw of 22 yards on the following possession to extend the advance at 35-17 at the end of the third quarter.

“Many major question points, I think it turned out to be good,” said Aggie Mike Elko Aggues coach. “We wanted to become more explosive in attack, we did it. We wanted to become more explosive in the return game, we did it. We wanted to see Marcel throwing the ball a little better, he did.”

Concepcion, a transfer of NC State, ran an 80 yards of 8 yards for a touch to the first quarter and its reception of 31 yards made 21-10 in the second. He received 72 yards and became the first Aggie player to have a touchdown of a release of clearance and a TD taking in a match since Christian Kirk did in 2017 against the New Mexico.

Reed launched for 289 yards and Mario Craver, who was transferred from the state of the Mississippi, made 122 yards in career with two affected.

“It means everything because I came to Texas A&M to win,” said Craver. “I felt like last year in the team in which I was … I was not used enough, so I have the impression that when I came here, they had a plan for me and it’s just my work.”

Elko was not surprised by the performance of Conceptcion and Craver.

“These are two talented children that we have targeted and that we coveted, that we thought we had a huge impact on what we do here,” he said.

UTSA coach Jeff Traylor was proud of his team’s efforts.

“We played as well as we could have honestly,” he said. “We just couldn’t last with them.”

As a father, like a son

EJ Smith, the son of the Temple of Professional Football Emmitt Smith, marked his first hit for Texas A&M, a race of 3 yards which extended the advance at 42-17 with around 7 1/2 minutes. Smith, bearing n ° 22, just like his father, is in his second season with the Aggies after four years in Stanford.

The point to take away

Utsa: Henry succeeded with the defense of Texas A&M, rushing 16 times for 177 yards and two affected.

“It’s ridiculous,” said Texas A & M Taurean York. “This is not what we defend.”

Henry achieved a 15 yards in the second quarter, then added his long score race after half-time.

Although the recognition of the name of this team returns to the quarter-Arrière Owen McCown, who is the son of the former QB of the NFL Josh McCown, Henry is the star of the Roadrunners.

Texas A&M: The Aggies had trouble advanceing their game on the ground. They finished with 108 yards on the ground, but had only 35 with about eight minutes in the third quarter. Reed led the Aggies with 39 yards on the ground.
