In the letter of update of the first quarter of Tesla, Tesla noted that “the plans of new vehicles, including more affordable models, remain on the right track for the start of production in the first half of 2025.” Tesla has also noted that new vehicles will use aspects of its next generation and its current platforms. They will also be produced on the same manufacturing lines as its current range of vehicles, probably the Y model and model 3.
During the call for earnings, Moravy specifically said that the new models that would be released in the coming months would resemble the current vehicles of the company.
