Terry McLaurin of commanders accepts the extension of $ 96 million

Week 1 has become even more difficult for giants.

Star Wide, Terry McLaurin, agreed on Monday of a contract extension of $ 96 million over three years with Washington Commanders, according to ESPN, put him back on the right track to face the Giants during the opening of the season 7 September.

The agreement puts an end to a suspension for McLaurin, which has moved away from many team activities, in particular by jumping the first week of training camp, when it continued a new agreement.

McLaurin, who will be 30 years next month, led commanders last season with 1,096 reception yards – his fifth consecutive year with at least 1,000 – and caught 13 career affected.

Bowler’s twice pro entering the last year of a $ 70 million contract over three years.

McLaurin is an essential weapon for the 24-year-old quarterrier, Jayden Daniels, who begins his second year in the NFL with expectations from top to bottom after having led the commanders to the NFC championship match as a recruit last season.

The return of McLaurin solidifies a Washington receiver room which added Deebo Samuel in a business offset with the 49ers of San Francisco.

He also finished a summer of drama in which McLaurin asked at some point a job.

“I was quite frustrated, I’m not going to lie,” said McLaurin last month. “Everything that has happened so far has been disappointing and frustrating. I want to continue my career here. ”

The McLaurin agreement comes a few days after the commanders exchanged the starting current of last year, Brian Robinson, at the 49ers for a sixth round choice in 2026.

Washington also added the left platform Laremy Tunsil this off -season in a business with the Texans of Houston.

With the agreement of McLaurin concluded, even more attention moves to the Cowboys of Dallas, which are involved in their own contract dispute with the Rusher All-Pro Pass Micah Parsons.

Parsons, which enters the fifth and last year of his recruit contract, asked for an exchange last month and was held. The 26 -year -old secondary recorded at least 12 bags during each of his first four seasons of the NFL.

The Giants are expected to welcome cowboys at Metlife Stadium in week 2 for their first home game.
