T’Challa fights for his throne in the first glance on Marvel Knights by Christopher Priest: the world to come

In June, two industry titans meet to present a revolutionary vision of the Marvel myth in the pages of Marvel Knights: The world to come.

The king of Wakanda is dead, leaving the most advanced technology in the world without guard, the most precious metal and a cryptic vault of dark secrets while triggering world conflicts between the heroes, the wicked and the mutants of Marvel. With T’Challa disappeared and the future of the Marvel universe passing on the edge of a vibranium knife, a tribal challenge follows for the Wakandan throne, and its mysterious winner will emerge as the new Wakanda leader and inaugurate the world to come.

“The coming world extends over about 60 years”, ” Quesada revealed in a recent interview. “The only thing on which the priest and I agreed was to avoid making the future dark and dystopian. What if it happened in a healthy, peaceful and properly functional future?”
