Taylor Sheridan’s “Landman” establishes the first date of season 2

Taylor Sheridan and “Landman” by Christian Wallace come back, with a first date now in sight: Sunday, November 16.
Paramount + published a first overview of the second season of their modern western with Billy Bob Thornton. The 15 -second teaser confirms that the series will return with a first of November 16 on Paramount +. You can watch the announcement of the date below.

“Landman” brings viewers to the world of the scale of Western Texan oil, focused on the Landman holder Tommy Norris (Thornton). Paramount describes the series as “a story upstairs / downstairs of Roughnecks and wild billionaires fueling such a big boom, it reshapes our climate, our economy and our geopolitics”. The program, written by Sheridan, is based on the Entertainment / Texas “Boomtown” monthly podcast.
The sides of Thornton in the cast are half Moore, Andy Garcia, Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan and Colm Feore. Jon Hamm played in the first season of the series. Sam Elliott will enter “Landman” as regular series in season 2.
“Landman” joins a sprawling Sheridan series on Paramount +. Currently, “Lioness” by Sheridan (with Zoe Saldaña and Nicole Kidman), “Tulsa King” (with Sylvester Stallone) and “Mayor of Kingstown” (with Jeremy Renner) are all active on the streaming platform. The massive success of Sheridan “Yellowstone” concluded at the end of 2024, while his Harrison Ford / Helen Mirren prequel “1923” ended in April 2025.
According to a press release, “Landman” has become the original # 1 Paramount + in the history of the streaming service, with 35 million record viewers for the first episode. Thornton received an appointment in 2025 Golden Globe for the best performance of an actor in a television drama, but “Landman” was excluded at the EMMY 2025.
Season 2 of “Landman” will start to broadcast with a first on Sunday, November 16, on Paramount +.
