Taylor Russell leaves Michael B. Jordan “The Thomas Crown Affair”

Taylor Russell left his role in reimagination by Amazon MGM Studios of “The Thomas Crown Affair”, where she was to play in front of Michael B. Jordan.
Production on the film, produced by Jordan, is underway in London. Russell would have left the game due to creative differences, and the studio will redesign its role in the film.
The film, whose intrigue details are kept under the Wraps, also features Kenneth Branagh, Lily Gladstone, Danai Gurira, Pilou Asbæk and Aiysha Hart. Drew Pearce wrote the script, following a previous project written by Wes Tooke and Justin Britt-Gibson, which was based on the original film.
“The Thomas Crown Affair” will be published in theaters on March 5, 2027.
Jordan and Elizabeth Raposo produce the image of aberrant society, alongside Charles Roven via Atlas Entertainment. Marc Toberoff by Patrick McCormick and Toberoff Productions also serves as producers. Alan Trustman (writer of the 1968 original film with Steve McQueen) is an executive producer.
Deadline was the first to report the news from Russell’s release.
More to come …
