Target of Liverpool Viktor Gyoker prefers moving to his arsenal rivals

Liverpool’s interest in the sports striker Viktor Gyokerres was clarified by Fabrizio Romano, who revealed that despite the reports connecting the Swedish striker with a move to Anfield, there is currently no active negotiation between Liverpool and the player.

Romano shared the update on Givemesport, declaring that if Liverpool admires Gyokerres, he currently favors a move to Arsenal if he leaves sport this summer.

Liverpool’s reported interest in Gyokerers occurred in the middle of an ambitious summer reconstruction after their first league title triumph under the Arne machine.

The Reds have already broken their transfer records with the arrivals of Jeremie Frimpong, Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez as they seek to strengthen their team before defending their League title and broadcast in Europe.

They may have to jump on the market for a new striker because of the uncertain future of Darwin Nunez, but it may not be to sign Gyokerres, who prefers a move to their rivals.

Romano said:

“I am not aware of the current contacts for gyoker at this stage. His priority is now Arsenal, so we will see later in the window. ”

Romano’s update suggests that Reds should need to look elsewhere if they wish to secure a new striker this summer, with Gyokerers firmly focuses on a potential passage in Arsenal.

For the moment, it seems that Arsenal is in the driving seat for Gyokerres, while Liverpool can rotate to targets of alternative attackers.

The sports striker was in a sensational form for the Portuguese club and it is hardly a surprise to see some of the biggest clubs in the world in the running for his signature.

Manchester United was also recognized with interest to sign the attacker who played under his manager Ruben Amorim in Sporting.
