Taiwan’s PTS XS, third culture, partner S11 for Youth Drama Lab

The booming content sector of Taiwan receives a major boost while international players unite their strengths to feed the next generation of Chinese storytellers.

Third Content Culture (TCC), the production company of Los Angeles and Seoul, has teamed up with S11 Partners and PTS X of Taiwan to launch “All Star”, a program of Chinese language incubator targeting creators of content for young adults.

The initiative, officially nicknamed “All Star: Teens Drama Development Lab”, starts this summer with applications opening on June 4. The program represents a strategic piece to grasp the generation Z and Alpha generation markets increasingly precious thanks to an authentic local narration with the world attraction.

In a two -phase structure, 30 selected Taiwanese creators will first participate in masterclasses led by industry before four out -of -competition projects venture to a six -month development laboratory working alongside Hollywood veterans. Selected projects could potentially go to international co -production in 2026.

High -caliber Hollywood mentors include Amy Rardin (producer, “Strange Academy” and “Echo”) by Marvel), Jessica O’Toole (“American Girl”, “Invisible Sister”) and the winner of Bafta Debbie Moon (“Wolfblood”). The program also offers a script development grant of $ 260,000 NT ($ 8,600) per selected project.

“While the genus there continues to grow worldwide, it remains relatively nascent in Asia,” said Janice Chua and Sean Dulake, CO-founders of the TCC. “This partnership offers a unique opportunity to explore and innovate in this space, combining the rich cultural nuances of Taiwan with our expertise in the creation of universally relatable stories.”

The laboratory relies on the established industry relations, because Cora Yim of TCC and S11 previously collaborated in “Emerge”, another development program based in Taiwan which incubated five television series and six features between 2022 and 2024.

“Adolescence is a powerful threshold – full of questions, changes and possibilities,” said Yim. “We are honored to associate ourselves with PTS XS and the third cultural content on this dramatic development laboratory for adolescents, giving young Taiwanese storytellers the tools to shape their own theater accounts for adolescents.”

PTS XS, which was launched in 2024 as the first Taiwan cross platform exclusively for viewers aged 3 to 18, considers collaboration as a strategic positioning on the competitive market for the content of young Asians.

“We are deeply grateful to our partners of Third Culture Content and S11 for their collaboration and their expertise,” said Yu Pei Hua of Pts XS. “Their support contributes to bringing this vision to life.”

The initiative represents the last in a series of development programs led by partners. Yim previously led Fox Creative Lab in 2018, while Chua and Dulake are currently used as teachers leader for CACCA (Canada-Asia Pacific Co-Organing Accelerator), which develops television projects for North American distribution.
