6. According to Pérez Salt Starting in season two, singles are given “talking points” and “questions” before embarking on their dates, but they are not required to use them.
“There were sorts of topics for the day,” Kyle Abrams added in an interview with E! News. “It was nice if there was a lull in the conversation, just referring to the little notebook and being able to engage in conversation.”
That being said, the series is far from being scripted. As a candidate Kelly Chase told Business Insider: “As unbelievable as it may seem (trust me, it was hard to believe myself), the show was not scripted for the cast.”
