John Carpenter has not made a feature film since the release of “The Ward” from 2010, a thriller from the mental hospital with Amber Heard. He also came after a long break in Carpenter’s Carpenter’s career, because he had not released a film since “Ghosts of Mars” in 2001. In the film, Heard Plays Kirsten, a young woman who engaged in a psychiatric establishment in 1966 due to an access of amnesia. She is told a lot about how she was previously patient there, but Kristen cannot trust anyone. Kristen is hypnotized and has visions of a girl, a mysterious figure with long blond hair. Does this person in his past? Is it? Is it a ghost? The mysteries of “The Ward” will ultimately be revealed.
