‘Sweet! Masters champion, Yogesh Raut, says Ken Jennings badly said his name and drags to the living room

Although Yogesh Raut returned home with $ 500,000, he was apparently not fully satisfied with the host Ken Jennings, and how things went Sweet! Masters. The newly crowned champion wrote on Facebook that the host badly said his name and that the game was published when he asked him to say it correctly.
On Saturday June 7, Raut shared a long post on Facebook with his interview on the Inside Jeopardy! Podcast. “My last pair of interviews on the show cut everything I had to say about racism (as planned) and also a good part of my thanks, including many people I thanked by name,” he started.
“They also cut me by saying: ‘Ken, when Neilesh [Vinjamuri] Was here, he wanted to thank you for saying his name correctly, and I would like to do the same – as soon as you start. (Not an extremely surprising elision either.) ”
When Ken Jennings presented Raut, Victoria Groce and Juveria Zaheer in the final Masters Episode, Jennings apparently obtained the first and last name of the champion.
He presented Raut as “Yo-Gesh raut”. However, many Internet pronunciation sites say that his first name is pronounced “Yo-Gaish”. His surname was also called R-OUT (rhyme with “shout”), while online suggestions are that he should be pronounced r-oat (ringing as “written”)))

“Congratulations! And I have always known that your name is pronounced phonetically – what is the right way? Another asked.
“I thought it was Yo-group. Is it correct? ” replied a fan. Raut did not comment to confirm.
Also on Facebook, Raut shared that his thanks Sweet! Production staff were also cut. “I would also like to thank Jimmy McGuire and Mitch The Sound Guy for having constantly pronounced my name correctly,” he wrote. McGuire is stage director at Sony Pictures Studios.
THE Sweet! Champion also revealed that he had an incident in California for the show. He thanked the “good Samaritan” whose name he has forgotten that helped him “escape serious injuries” when he fell into the escalator at Lax airport in Los Angeles. “But I will do my best to see that they are thanked on national television!” He said.
