Suspect dead after shooting a soldier at Blue Grass airport, several people at Lexington church, say the managers
Lexington, Ky. (Wkyt) – Lexington police and Kentucky State police investigate a shooting.
The Lexington fire service told Wkyt that their crews had been sent to 4,000 terminals for information reporting with a victim around 11:40 am on Sunday.
State police say that there are several victims in church and that the police have “secured” the suspect there. They say the suspect has died.
The police said that the injured soldier receives medical care and that EMS treats the wounded in the church. Their conditions are not known.
There is an investigation into the application of laws with an impact on part of the terminal training. Blue Grass airport guides passengers to open a parking lot. All flights and operations are now continuing as usual.
Police also blocks part of Old Richmond Road near the church.
