Superman would have been censored for his release in India for a surprising reason
Superman Includes a few examples of blasphemies and at least a relatively shocking scene (the Lex Russian roulette game), but it is probably difficult to imagine the largely family film causing a lot of offense to a film regulatory council of all countries.
Despite this, it is now revealed that the restart of DCU by James Gunn was censored for his release in India.
According to Bollywood HungamaThe Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) required several cuts, including the abolition of an eight-second “naufratic gesture” (the constructions of medium-deigm ring of Guy Gardner), and “sensual visuals”. Apparently, two scenes of kisses have been deleted: Clark and Laws kissing his apartment near the start of the film, and their passionate sagou in noon after the final battle.
Superman was passed with a U / A 13+ certificate in India, with 41 seconds of deletions in the final theatrical version, and the fans are not satisfied.

Superman features David Corenswet in the role of Clark Kent / Kal-El, Rachel Brosnahan like Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult like Lex Luthor, Isabela Merced like Hawkgirl, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, Edi Gathegi as Mr. Terrific and Anthony Carrigan As Metamorpho.
The distribution also priitt Taylor Vince and Neva Howell as “Ma” and “PA” Kent, and the Supergirl of Milly Alcock was confirmed to make its debut before its own Tomorrow’s wife movie.
