Bucs have a decision to make on the defensive line player Desmond Watson

The Buccaneers signed the defensive platform Desmond Watson after the draft, kissing a player who weighed 464 pounds during the training of the Florida Pro Day.

Although he participated in the off -season program, the BUCs placed it on the list of non -football injuries / diseases at the opening of the camp because it had not achieved its weight loss goals. As of August 6, the director general Jason Licht said that the team wanted Watson to focus entirely on its weight and packaging, adding that Watson “milestones” to reach before he was allowed to train.

He has still not been allowed to train. And the lists went from 90 to 53 in two days.

And so the Bucs have the decision to make Watson. The options are as follows: (1) put it on the list of 53 men; (2) Move it to reserve NFI; or (3) release it.

A player on NFI should not be paid. The question for Watson is whether his weight really counts as an injury or illness. If anything, BUCs try to keep Watson from an injury or illness. Twenty-four years ago, the Vikings attack Korey Strnger died of the complications of the heat stroke.

Bucs were patient with Watson. The question is whether the patience of the teams will run out. Whatever the “milestones” they have given him, he has not yet reached. At one point, the team will say: “Fairly enough.”
