The FEE had injuries during the loan spell, but shone during the playoffs with key contributions in the two links in the semi-finals against Coventry and the victory over the blades.

“I said before the final of the qualifiers that my heart was in Sunderland – I wanted to stay, and that made it the most important game of my life. Together, we did it,” said the FEE, who has already worked with the boss of Sunderland, regis Le Bris in Lorient.

“From the moment I arrived, I enjoyed my football, my teammates and our supporters. We have shared an incredible experience, and now we can take the next step. There are bigger challenges to come, but we have to face them together, and I can’t wait to play to Swanderland in the Premier League. ”
