The Connecticut Sun will continue to call the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, in Connecticut, at home for at least another season.
The team informed the holders of seasonal subscriptions of this decision by email on Wednesday, probably stimulated by persistent chatter who have sold or moved.
“We know that there have been a lot of media conversations on the future of the team, but know that we will play the 2026 season here in Mohegan Sun Arena,” said the Memo, according to the Hartford current.
The team belongs to Mohegan Tribe, who bought the former Orlando Miracle before the 2003 season for $ 10 million. In May, the franchise hired the New York Allen & Company investment company to explore the sale and the move of the sun but did not provide an update.
