American history is an innovation. Railways that have linked the sea to the brilliant sea to the Internet that connected the whole world, American entrepreneurs have led the construction of next generation technologies to each generation from our foundation. The crypto should not be different.
The working group, as an author of this report, approves the idea that digital assets and blockchain technologies can revolutionize not only the financial system of America, but property and governance systems on the economy level. American entrepreneurs who pioneer the new industries using these technologies deserve both clarity on policies that affect their efforts and praise for the progress they have made.
The working group also believes that the movement underlying the development of cryptography – very large and dedicated to the construction of a more open and more efficient financial system – should be recognized. No president has given this movement the recognition it deserves to President Trump.
The working group encourages the federal government to operationalize the promise of President Trump to make America the “cryptographic capital of the world” and to adopt a pro-innovation state of mind towards digital assets and blockchain technologies. The following basic recommendations, if implemented, will ensure that the crypto becomes a brand brand of the new American gold.
