Street nises and parking restrictions for Coldplay at the Randall Stadium camp | Traffic engineering

The city of Madison announces several street closings and parking restrictions in preparation for the COLDPLAY concert at the Randall Stadium camp Saturday July 19. These measures aim to support the safety of pedestrians and the logistics of events.

List of affected streets:

N Randall avenue

• Remains farm between Engineering Drive and W Dayton Street Due to the construction of current public services.

N Brese Terrace

• Will be Closed every day, from Monday July 14 for the concert configuration.
• Traffic in the south will be temporarily authorized between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. each day of the week for the afternoon trip.
• Beginning 8:00 a.m. on Saturday July 19N Breese Terrace will be Completely closed between Regent Street and University Avenue until 6:00 p.m. Monday July 21.

Monroe Street

• Will be Closed between Regent Street and Randall Avenue to start 8:00 a.m. on Saturday July 19and will remain closed until approximately 3:00 am Sunday July 20.

Street Regent

• Will be Closed between Spooner Street and Randall Avenue for about An hour after each concert (Since 11:00 p.m. to midnight) to ensure pedestrian safety.
• During these closures, Madison police will run traffic in the direction is on Regent Street in the direction of Park Street.

Temporary parking restrictions on the street will be in place as a typical UW home football match, which includes Regent Street and Monroe Street for concert exit.

In addition, a carpooling loading area will be designated on N Charter Street, from Regent Street to Dayton Street.

Residents, spectators and motorists are encouraged to plan accordingly and allow additional journey time. Alternative routes are strongly advised during the closing periods.
