Strawberry spinach salad recipe – Love and lemons

This strawberry spinach salad is filled with pacan, feta and a tart -in -pave flash vinaigrette. Perfect for spring or summer, it is simple and fresh.
This strawberry spinach salad is perfect for spring and early summer. It begins with a base of fresh spinach – one of the first vegetables to appear on my producer market every spring – and is supplemented by juicy strawberries, crunchy red onions, grilled pacans and salty feta cheese. My sweet and tangy poppy seed vinaigrette attaches everything together.
I think it is just to say that this combination is quite classic (does Panera not have a salad of strawberry cobblestones on its menu?), But I always wanted to share this recipe because it is so simple and fresh, with a wonderful touch of softness and strawberry color. It is special enough to serve at the holiday meeting or in Potluck (I do it for Easter on Sunday!), But it’s so fast and easy that you can throw it together for any spring meal.
You can find the full recipe for strawberry spinach salad at the bottom of this post. Along the way, I share fun exchanges and variations, makeup advice and more. I hope you love this salad as much as I do!
What is in this strawberry spinach salad
Here is what you will need to make this spinach and strawberry salad:
- Strawberries, of course! They add sweetness, ruby red color and soft and juicy texture. Rather than chopping them, I cut them finely for this salad. I love to eat thin slices alongside the spinach leaves, and they are so pretty!
- Fresh spinach – Use spinach for babies if you can – its small leaves and its tender texture are great here. Mature spinach also works, but you may want to cut it before assembling the salad.
- Red onion – For tasty and onion flavor.
- Grilled – For the crunch and the rich and hazelnut flavor.
- And feta cheese – He adds a tangy and salty pop which contrasts perfectly with the sweet bays.

Possible swaps
- Replace strawberries with another fresh fruit Like the blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, orange segments, thin slices or pears.
- Use the spring mixture instead of spinach. The butter lettuce would work as well!
- Try another nut. Replace the pacans with grilled nuts, gables or almonds.
- Exchange the feta For crumbled goat cheese or blue cheese. You can even replace the dice lawyer to make this recipe without dairy products!

My easy pop -off seed vinaigrette
A sweet and tangy poppy seed vinaigrette brings this salad together.
It’s easy to do with White wine vinegar, shallot, honey, dijon mustard, salt, extra virgin olive oil and poppy seeds. If you want to make the vinaigrette slightly creamy, you can add a little Mayo Also.
Just whisk the ingredients together in a bowl, or place them in a lid pot and shake to combine.

Makeup and storage tips
The spinach strawberry salad and the poppy seed vinaigrette are better stored separately.
- You can mix the ingredients of the salad – mine the vinaigrette – up to 1 day in advance. Keep the salad in an airtight container in the refrigerator until it is ready to serve.
- You can do the dressing up to 5 days in advance. Keep it in an airtight container in the refrigerator until it is ready to serve. Olive oil in the vinaigrette can solidify because it cools in the refrigerator. Just let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften before burn it on the salad!
The undressed remains remain in the refrigerator up to 3 days. Once dressed, this salad is better consumed in a few hours.
