“I gently whisper my love in simple words …” Neon started a second official trailer for TogetherThe ingenious body horror comedy of the Australian filmmaker Michael Shanks (of Restarted). Ready to release at the end of July – it will make things happen for sure. Go look at that with a crowd. The film was presented at first for complimentary criticism at the Film Film of Sundance 2025 in January – I loved it (my review) and I listed it as one of my favorite party films. He then played in Sxsw and made even more good criticisms there. In this body horror, the move of a couple in the countryside triggers a supernatural incident which radically modifies their relationship, their existence and their physical form. Join them. This intelligent trailer is a trailer for “photo book” showing this pretty couple together on romantic getaways before things go crazy. I’m glad they still haven’t shown too much, it is better experienced when you don’t know what will happen to this couple.
