Steven Spielberg dismisses the first images of his science fiction film without secret

Even after seeing images of the next to come to come from Steven Spielberg, it remains difficult to have a clear meaning of the story and the complete management of the project.

Earlier this week, Spielberg attended a special event in the sprawling installation of 84,000 square feet of Universal Pictures known as Commons. There he officially unveiled a new projection room bearing his name, the Steven Spielberg TheaterA 250 -seat cinema dedicated to its inheritance.

To mark the occasion, Spielberg shared exclusive images of the mysterious science fiction film, which would imply UFOs. Fans and initiates have speculated wildly on the nature of the film, with theories ranging from an entirely original story to the possible consequences of classics like and or closed encouragement of the third type.

The clip included Emily Blunt as a relatable woman and earth-to-earth living in a calm rural area which is chased by dark figures in unmarked black vehicles.

A particularly captivating moment has shown his damaged sedan, with the character of Josh O’Connor inside, crashing head down on a train coming in the opposite direction. The pair escapes desperately through the broken windshield just before the car is crushed under the wheels of the train.

Colin Firth seemed to play an antagonistic role, seen in a tense moment inside a futuristic underground laboratory or a science fiction bunker.

Meanwhile, brief of Eve Hewson and Colman Domingo suggested their involvement in history, although their exact characters remain a mystery given the limited images shown.

Among the stars participating in the theatrical dedication were John Travolta, Vin Diesel, Seth Rogen, Colman Domingo, Dakota Fanning, Jeff Goldblum and Ke Huy Quan, highlighting the meaning of the event within the cinematographic community.

While baptizing the theater hall, Spielberg told participants that he had never planned to retire.

Previously, the screenwriter David Koepp, who collaborated once again with Spielberg on the projectteasing, “What he does so brilliantly is that he combines a vast spectacle with a really honest human emotion. Unlike, I think, any other director – it’s a very emotional experience, this film.“”

The public can probably expect a Signature Spielberg experience because the director joins Koepp again.

The duo has a long history of successful collaborations, having already worked together on Jurassic Park in 1993, The Lost World: Jurassic Park in 1997, War of the Worlds in 2005, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of Crystal Skull in 2008.

The coming film features Emily Blunt (Edge of Tomorrow, a Quiet Place), Josh O’Connor (The Crown, Challengers), Colin Firth (Kingsman, Barbie), Eve Hewson (The Luminaries), Colman Domingo (Fear the Walking Dead, The Color Purple) and Wyatt Russell (Thunderbolts).

THE Steven Spielberg film Untitled From Universal Pictures is expected to be released in theaters on June 12, 2026.
