5 ways in which Marvel Studios’ latest film sets up the future of MCU

Marvel Studios made the right decision by fixing The Fantastic Four: First steps On Earth 828. Not only did it allow the filmmaker Matt Shakman to make a film inspired by the work of Jack Kirby, but it avoided the need for any complicated explanation on the absence of MCU of the team.
Of course, this also meant that restarting was a largely autonomous adventure and not full of the cameos and clues for the future to whom we have used. The result was a film that looked like a breath of fresh air, and Easter eggs were still abundant.
With Avengers: Doomsday on the horizon, The Fantastic Four: First steps always manages to place at least a few bases in the place where the franchise then goes. It also sets up the future of this team, whether on the sacred chronology, the Earth 828 or both.
In this feature, we decompose what could be the next for the first MCU family. To find out more, click on the “Next” buttons https://comicbookmovie.com/ “Show the list” below.
5. Galactus, blocked
In The Fantastic Four: First steps“The last act, the first family of Marvel manages to defeat Galactus (with help from Shalla-Bal), banish the devotor of the worlds on the edge of the universe. We don’t know what happened to his ship, but that didn’t accompany him.
The millions of light years have remained far from the earth, Galactus is not dead, but the team’s planet will be sheltered from its insatiable appetite. Could this be the end of the road to the villain, or an index that it will break the edge of this parallel reality and perhaps find its way to, Oh, earth 616?
While we plan that the MCU is restarted after Avengers: secret warsThe way things remain for Galactus certainly opens the door when it comes back when the incursions start Judgment DayEspecially since those who weaken the barriers between the universes.
4. Power Cosmic

Like Galactus, Franklin Richards is imbued with Power Cosmic, making the youngest member of the most powerful Fantastic Four in the universe. It will make him a major actor in the reality he calls at home.
The Power Cosmic is likely to extend beyond Franklin, especially if rumors in terms of Norrin Radd are correct. Galactus permeates her heralds with the smallest ribbon of this huge cosmic energy, so she could go into play beyond the simple Fantastic Four franchise.
For the moment, however, we expect the accent to remain on Franklin and what its booming powers mean for the multiverse. However, where it takes us remains to be seen, especially since the Franklin comic is a mutant, not A carrier of the Power Cosmic.
3. The bridge

The Fantastic Four: First steps Confirms that Reed Richards explored the idea of parallel universes, and the bridge – which is used as a teleportation system in this film – will probably be what it uses to transport the team through the multiverse.
In the comics, Reed uses the bridge to observe different worlds, everything to learn how they had achieved peace. This finally led to the introduction of the interdimensional reeds council and returned to construction at Secret wars as a way to keep an eye on incursions.
Not only will this technology be the key to what we see Avengers: Doomsday And Avengers: secret warsBut if the multiverse continues beyond this last film, it could mean that the fantastic four remain on retrofuturistic earth 828 and travel between the worlds.
2. The future foundation

In the comics, the future foundation was introduced when Mister Fantastic decided to form a new group of free individuals to plan a better future for all humanity and the earth. The MCU version is similar and devoted to the earth 828 a peaceful technological paradise.
Like Stark Industries, we expect the future foundation to have a great presence throughout the post-Avengers: secret wars. Spider-Man, for example, could join his ranks, as well as Riri Williams and Bruce Banner.
Sue Storm will probably remain the focal point of peacekeeping efforts in this group, Reed serving as mentor to all kinds of intelligent heroes. It is an exciting perspective, and which places the fantastic four at the heart of this shared world to move forward.
1. Doctor Doom and Franklin Richards

In The Fantastic Four: First steps“The scene of average credits, Sue will get a book for his 4 -year -old son and returns to find Doctor Doom on his knees before Franklin. He removed his mask, perhaps suggesting that he tests the boy’s powers by making him heal his face.
This gives Marvel the possibility of strongly presenting the face of Robert Downey Jr. in the trailers and others, something we know will upset many of you. However, it seems more likely that Doom’s face is hidden all the time (why Franklin makes him look like Tony Stark).
We would like to think that Doom has a story with this iteration of Fantastic Four, but with regard to Franklin’s participation, we bet on the competition to want to use – or fly – the Cosmic Power so that he can “save” (and govern) the multiverse.
