These spicy shrimp recipes are fast, tasty and full of heat
Summer wants me to taste spicy foods with a cold ice beer, a glass of fresh wine or an icy cocktail. Being the Wuss that I am, I prefer appetizers and small bites – so I can quickly repress the heat with one of the aforementioned drinks between the bites, which is why these nine recipes of spicy shrimp are completely my jam.
First, they are easy to prepare and do not require a long list of ingredients. Some, like Goong Pad Nam Prik Pao (Thai sautéed shrimp with chili jam) and Ebi no chirisōsu (Japanese shrimp in chili sauce), are counting on condiments making heavy lifting. Better yet, you can compose the heat level up or down to suit your spices tolerance – go and mix in a few birds of bird birds (seeds and everything) if you like fiery things. And don’t be surprised if these dishes make you lick each last sauce on your plate and your fingers!
